Can you feel it?
Can you feel it? Spring is coming! Spring is coming!
This morning, I awoke and stepped outside to enjoy a moment of sun before getting ready for work. There are little bitty buds popping up all over the yard! The Lilac trees especially are starting to push out the beginnings of what will lead to succulent smelling blooms! I am so excited this morning! It's coming, finally!
It feels like this has been the longest, and coldest winter in Portland that I have ever seen, and this little visual has given me hope of the rebirth of spring! Yippie!!!!!!
What is going on in your yard?

That's the thing about living in california, only little hints of changing seasons.
Happy Monday!
The waves are crashing and will be all week...lots of windy weather.
Glad you got your little peek. I am excited about Spring too. I love Easter!
I love ya.
BRING IT ON!!! I'm SO tired of being COLD!!!
My yard is pretty bleak right now, but my beautiful dogwood trees will soon be budding:)
Lilacs are my absolute FAVORITE! I can't wait for Spring to get here. Can't wait!
I like to consider YOUR yard MY yard--and it looks FABULOUS as always!
Surprisingly my little container gardening has gone well! I've managed to keep everything alive ... and secretly wonder if you and Jimmy have really been sneaking over at night and taking care of my little pots for me.
Things here are still cold looking but I see a bud every now and then. I am so ready for spring. My yard?? Well it needs some help right now!
Love U.
I'm so happy for you.
Today it rained buckets and buckets, especially by Socal standards.
And...our kumquat tree is LOADED with bright orange little kumquats!
My yard - Predo - you don't want to see what's happening on the complex grounds. Let's just say some dogs have been *ahem* leaving presents everywhere (and my pug thinks he's a bloodhound and finds them all *sigh*)
Lilacs... GORGEOUS! Love them - send some to OTown please ;)
